Responsibilities:
- Sector Support: Assist the Senior Sector Specialists, in timely and accurate research, analytical support and credit assessment across the Real Estate, Electrical and Electronics/ Tech, Commodities and Energy sectors.
- Data & Research: Gather, process, and analyze complex financial data, market trends, and regulatory changes relevant to each sector.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed industry reports, company profiles, and presentation materials for internal stakeholders. This also include portfolio monitoring.
- Financial Modeling: Assist in building and maintaining financial models and valuation frameworks for companies within the covered sectors.
- Market Monitoring: Track key macro-economic indicators and sector-specific news flow to identify emerging risks and opportunities. Collaborate across teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of banking strategies.
Requirements:
- A recent graduate or professional with experience in a research, analysis, or finance-related role.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and financial data terminals (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv).
- Passion for learning and working across diverse industries.
- Prior exposure to one or more of these areas (Real Estate, Electrical and Electronics/ Tech, Commodities and Energy sectors) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
