Job summary

Robert Bosch Group in Penang invites motivated university students to join our Industrial Trainees program in Industrial Engineering and Lean. This internship focuses on process confirmation, data collection, time studies, and supporting CIP projects.

You will develop hands-on experience with waste analysis, ergonomic studies, and planning guideline workshops while contributing to layout updates and drawings. Duration 4–6 months, starting Jan 22 - June 22.

Qualifications

• On-going university student in related engineering field.
• Internship duration 4–6 months.

Responsibilities

• Process confirmation and data collection for standard work sheet.
• Preliminary time study and data collection analysis vs. standard time.
• Data collection and preliminary analysis for new model with plan process flow.
• Waste study and ergonomic study for human to machine.
• Lean topics including CIP project prep, waste walk, workshop setup, VSM/VSD drafting.
• Planning guideline line workshop prep support, layout updates and project follow up.

Lean topic include System Continues Improvement Process (CIP) project preparation, waste walk, workshop set up, VSM/VSD drafting

Lean topic on Planning Guideline Line (PGL) workshop preparation support, Layout update and project follow up and drawing update.
