Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, analyze, and optimize production processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Participate in the introduction of new products by evaluating pre-processing costs and developing flowcharts, standard working hours, and production layouts.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement projects using IE methodologies (e.g., time studies, line balancing, seven wastes analysis).
  • Monitor and analyze labor costs, man-hour utilization, and productivity data for cost control and operational improvement.
  • Plan and improve facility layouts, including production lines, warehouses, and office areas, in line with customer/product needs.
  • Conduct outsourcing assessments, unit cost calculations, and track efficiency at external manufacturing sources.
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams and participate in internal and external meetings to align on project goals and progress.
  • Drive and promote staff participation in improvement initiatives and track outcomes.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation including cost analysis reports, SOPs, and improvement records.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience (4 years for diploma holders)
  • Familiar with production processes of electronic products
  • Proficient in IE principles (IE seven tools, line balancing, man-hour management, seven wastes, JIT)
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
  • Basic understanding of DOE (Design of Experiments) methods
  • Experience with ERP/K3 systems for labor and efficiency tracking
  • Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to lead and drive process improvement projects
  • High level of initiative, responsibility, and dedication
  • CET-4 level English (basic reading and writing skills)
  • Able to guide and train assistant engineers when needed
