Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
• Possession of a valid Practicing Certificate issued by the MAHPC (or equivalent).
• 2 years of clinical experience, or 5+ years in hospital/ambulatory care settings.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Conflict resolution and negotiation abilities.
• Empathy and active listening in patient and staff interactions.
• Coaching and motivation for team empowerment.
• Cultural sensitivity and emotional intelligence.
• Collaborative leadership within a multidisciplinary setting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out professional physiotherapy duties as delegated by HOS and rotate duties.
• Ensure appropriate professional assessment, care and attention to all patients.
• Maintain internationally recognized standards of physiotherapy practice.
• Record incidents/accidents involving patients or family members.
• Record faults in equipment and ensure follow-up actions.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and new services.
• Pursue continuous education to upgrade professional skills.
• Ensure safety at work and compliance with safety policies.
• Co-operate with employer and colleagues in discharge of duties.
