Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging IGCSE lessons across assigned subjects and levels, ensuring alignment with Cambridge curriculum standards and learning objectives. Use diverse teaching strategies to support all learners and create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment. Design and administer assessments, provide timely and constructive feedback, maintain accurate academic records, and support students’ exam readiness through targeted guidance. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum, resources, and best teaching practices, participate in departmental meetings, school events, and academic discussions, and contribute to school-wide initiatives for continuous improvement. Encourage student participation, curiosity, and critical thinking, provide pastoral care where needed, and support extracurricular activities, clubs, and school events. Stay up-to-date with the latest Cambridge IGCSE curriculum changes and teaching methodologies, and actively engage in professional development, training sessions, and workshops.

Qualifications & Requirements

Candidates must hold a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent) and have proven experience teaching the IGCSE curriculum, with strong subject knowledge in their assigned area(s). Excellent classroom management, communication skills, teamwork, and a passion for education are essential. Priority will be given to candidates with experience in the Science Stream (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or Business Stream (Business Studies, Economics, Accounting).
