Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) seeks an HVAC Technician – L1 in Kuching to maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems at client facilities. You will perform proactive testing, scheduled maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety codes and standards.

The role is part of CBRE's Engineering and Technical Services, delivering preventive maintenance, repairs, and support across HVAC equipment with supervision as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma in Electrical with 2–3 years related experience.
• L1 Chargeman certificate is essential.
• Meet the physical requirements including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to follow basic routines and standards for work.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems for building HVAC.
• Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with codes.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine best course of action for modifications.
• Follow existing procedures to solve straightforward problems with limited discretion.
• Deliver output by following defined procedures under close supervision.
