Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a HVAC Shift Sr. Technician in Melaka, Malaysia. You will maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems across multiple facilities, ensuring safe operation and compliance with regulations.

The role requires an Engineering Diploma in Mechanical/HVAC and 3–5 years of related experience, with supervisory responsibilities and strong organizational skills. You will lead a shift team, manage stock, and use standard procedures to achieve targets.

Qualifications

• Min. Engineering Diploma in Mechanical/HVAC; 3–5 years of job-related experience; valid driver’s license and apprenticeship completed.
• Prior supervisory experience is required.
• Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, adjust, service and maintain large electric or pneumatic control systems used for building HVAC, calibrate instruments and control components.
• Inspect and maintain building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with codes and safety.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine best actions for modifications.
• Manage HVAC stock levels for materials and supplies.
• Supervise and lead a shift team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Lead by example and apply CBRE RISE values.
• Work within standardized procedures to meet deadlines.
• Exchange information clearly, ask questions, and confirm understanding.
