Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with labor laws and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate HR documentation and support audits when required.
  • Manage employee relations, disciplinary actions, grievances, and dispute resolution.
  • Act as the main liaison with unions, negotiate and administer collective agreements, and foster positive labor relations.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and administration of foreign workers, ensuring compliance with immigration laws and work permit regulations.
  • Coordinate with agencies and government bodies for documentation and renewals.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for plant roles, ensuring timely hiring to meet production needs.
  • Implement talent development programs, succession planning, and career growth initiatives.
  • Drive employee engagement and retention strategies to build a strong workforce.
  • Develop and execute workforce planning strategies aligned with production requirements.
  • Monitor headcount, optimize staffing levels, and manage labor costs effectively.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience, within manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and IR practices.
  • Experience in union negotiations and foreign worker management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
