About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead end-to-end HR operations for both manufacturing and sales teams. This role plays a critical part in talent acquisition, workforce development, performance management, and cross-cultural integration within a global business environment.

Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
  • Lead recruitment for manufacturing roles and overseas sales positions.
  • Ensure a hiring success/onboarding rate of over 90%.
Talent Development
  • Build and implement a dual-track talent development system:
  • Factory skill progression pathways
  • Sales team pipeline development
Labor Cost Optimization
  • Partner with the Plant Manager to control labor workforce costs.
  • Reduce expatriate-related expenses through strategies such as localized hiring and tax planning.
Culture & Organizational Development
  • Support HQ-driven corporate culture initiatives, adapting them for factory and sales teams.
  • Facilitate cultural integration for expatriate employees.
Performance Management
  • Establish and operate performance management systems.
  • Use performance results to guide team development and ensure organizational health.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Labor Relations, or related fields.
  • 8+ years of comprehensive HR experience across all HR modules.
  • Experience in manufacturing or trading environments is preferred.
  • MBA or Master’s in HR is an advantage.
  • Strong strategic thinking, cultural awareness, and ability to translate HQ strategies into localized execution.
  • Language Requirement: Must be fluent in English, Malay, and Mandarin.
