Job summary

A leading company in Malaysia is seeking a Human Resources professional to drive people strategy and collaborate with business heads. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in HR or related fields, 4+ years of HR experience, and strong problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include stakeholder management, talent consultations, and compliance oversight. Candidates must be fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Job Summary
  • Drive people strategy and initiatives in partnership with business head and HR teams in line with business strategies.
  • Collaborate with Knowledge and Tactical Team in performance management, talent management, employee engagement and succession planning.
Key Responsibilities
  • Interact with the business and provide appropriate consultations on people and broader business challenges.
  • Assist in translating People Strategy into actionable plans.
  • Support Knowledge & Tactical of Human Resources in designing and executing people strategy and people-related initiatives.
  • Facilitate candidate interviews and get involved in candidate selection by providing recommendations and insights from a Human Resources perspective.
  • Ensure that all Human Resources policy and process activity is effectively delivered into the responsible business area(s) / entities.
  • Support Human Resources community to ensure group Human Resources strategies, policies and processes are effectively implemented and monitored.
  • Performs ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior / entities.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance for internal controls and audits. Assist in all audit reviews exercise.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or any related discipline.
  • At least 4 years working experience in Human Resources.
  • Sound business acumen and strong communication skills.
  • Familiar with Employment Act and other local regulations.
  • Good interpersonal and people management skills.
  • Possess strong leadership skills and ability to manage and deal with internal stakeholders.
  • Innovative problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and prioritise effectively.
  • High level of maturity and sense of responsibility.
  • Good in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English & Bahasa Malaysia.
