Job summary

Confidential Jobs is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join Malaysia HRBP and Site/Plant Operations Leadership. You will drive organizational effectiveness, talent development, and employee engagement at our Tampoi, Johor Bahru site, aligning people strategies with business goals.

You will coach leaders, support change programs, and ensure compliance while leveraging shared services to optimize operations. A strong HR background in FMCG manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies or related Degree with Human Resources specialization.
• Minimum 8 years experience partnering with business leaders in a HR capacity.
• Exposure in FMCG MNC Manufacturing is preferred.
• Agile in matrix organization and collaborate well across all levels and functions.
• Analytical and technology savvy.
• Open to work in site based in Tampoi, Johor Bahru Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of organizational effectiveness priorities and initiatives in line with business strategy and plans.
• Responsible for the people and organization-design related aspects of change programs.
• Monitor and interpret key indicators of organizational effectiveness and ensure plans are in place to course-correct as needed.
• Coach & partner with business leaders on their role in leading organizational effectiveness.
• Support the site in delivering high performance and meeting key performance indicators.
• Align with business strategy to deliver talent priorities including coaching leaders in talent planning and organizational development.
• Partner with COEs and Talent Acquisition on strategic resourcing requirements and role validation.
• Participate in assessment and selection for critical leadership roles.
• Leverage Reward Programs to drive performance and engagement and partner on total reward decisions.
• Be a people champion across levels and foster an inclusive work environment.
• Collaborate with Employee Relations to address issues and ensure compliance.

As a HR Business Partner, you will collaborate with business leaders to drive organizational effectiveness, talent development, and employee engagement at our site. This role focuses on delivering best-in-class HR practices, fostering an inclusive culture, and ensuring compliance while leveraging shared services for operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of organizational effectiveness priorities and initiatives in line with business strategy and plans
• Responsible for the people and organization-design related aspects of change programs

• Coach & partner with business leaders on their role in leading organizational effectiveness
• Support the site in delivering high performance and meeting key performance indicator
• Aligned with business strategy, deliver talent priorities which includes coaching people leaders in talent planning, talent identification, talent pipelines, organizational planning and performance
• Partner with COEs in driving effectiveness of people leader skill and leadership competencies
• Partner with talent acquisition team in strategic resourcing requirements, work with leaders to validate open roles, coaching and challenging where necessary on requirements for new or replacement roles.
• Participate in the assessment and selection process for critical / key leadership role
• Leverage Reward Programs to drive business performance and employee engagement which includes compensation, benefit and recognition
• Partner with Reward COE on appropriate solutions to address business need
• Consult, partner, coach Business Leaders re Total Reward decisions
• A people champion who understands people’s needs from all levels
• Partner with and coach people leaders and Unions in building and maintaining an inclusive work environment
• Ensure compliance in employee relations and international labor standard and develop action plans to remediate issues in a timely manner
• Collaborate with Employee Relations issues
