Responsibilities
  • Handle full spectrum of HR operations, including recruitment, compensation and benefits, training development, HR strategic planning, and other activities.
  • Analyze trends of compensation and benefits; oversee salary and compensation structure; lead and guide setting employee compensation rates and ensuring competitiveness.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business strategy; ensure HR practices, policies & procedures, and processes support business operations and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with Department Heads to identify staffing and recruitment needs and execute best hiring practices for talent management.
  • Develop and manage performance evaluation processes; guide managers and employees on performance goals and reviews; address performance-related issues and implement improvement plans.
  • Maintain compliance with RBA, Environmental, Social & Corporate Governance and local employment law; recommend best practices, review policy, and practice to maintain compliance standards.
  • Oversee full spectrum of employee life cycles from onboarding to offboarding, including confirmation, contract renewals, and re-employment.
  • Oversee all other HR administrative work including compensation & benefits administration, work injury compensation & training administration.
  • Handle employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations relevant to the region.
  • Identify skills gaps and development needs within the organization; collaborate with managers to create tailored development plans for employees.
  • Assist Department Heads in addressing performance issues and creating improvement plans.
Tasks
  • Review onboarding process periodically to ensure smooth transition for new hires.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire the team to deliver high-quality work.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Handle workplace investigations, disciplinary, and termination procedures when necessary.
  • Maintain employee and workplace privacy.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships and collaborate with employees, senior management, and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset; ability to align HR initiatives with business goals and drive organizational change.
  • Understanding of RBA; experience handling customer and third-party audits is an advantage.
  • Mandarin language proficiency (Speak, Read & Write) to deal with Mandarin speaking counterpart from China.
  • Ability to accept short-term international assignment.
