Position: Human Resources Manager

Location: Sibu Sarawak
Salary Range: RM6,000-RM8,000
Job Descriptions:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company’s objectives.
- Manage the full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, training, performance management and employee engagement.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy in statutory contributions (e.g., EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB).
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions and conflict resolution.
- Conduct regular visits to estates to monitor and support HR operations including manpower management and on-site employee welfare.
- Develop and manage HR policies, procedures and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian Employment Act 1955 and the Sarawak Labour Ordinance as applicable.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Working experience in the oil palm sector is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws including the Sarawak Labour Ordinance and Employment Act 1955.
- Proven experience in local and foreign recruitment, payroll processing and managing employee benefits.
- Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be willing and able to travel to estates regularly.
