A leading manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a Human Resources Manager to oversee recruitment, employee relations, and performance management. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management and at least 5 years of HR experience, including 2 years in a managerial position. The company promotes a four-day work week and values employee well-being and engagement. A strong knowledge of employment laws and excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
Work closely with department heads to identify manpower needs and ensure timely hiring.
Implement effective employer branding and talent acquisition strategies to attract quality candidates.
Build and maintain positive employee relations through clear communication and fair practices.
Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and workplace conflicts in a professional and confidential manner.
Promote a harmonious work environment that aligns with the company’s culture and values.
Manage payroll processes, allowances, and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
Review and recommend salary adjustments, benefits programs, and incentive schemes.
Ensure all compensation and benefits practices comply with Malaysia Labour Law.
Identify training needs and develop annual training plans to enhance employee skills and performance.
Coordinate internal and external training programs, workshops, and employee development initiatives.
Evaluate training effectiveness and maintain proper training records.
Implement and monitor the company’s performance appraisal system.
Guide department heads in setting KPIs and evaluating employee performance fairly.
Recommend performance improvement plans, recognition, and career development opportunities.
Develop, review, and update HR policies, SOPs, and the Employee Handbook in accordance with Malaysian employment laws.
Ensure company compliance with statutory regulations and HR best practices.
Conduct regular HR audits and ensure consistent policy implementation across departments.
Partner with management to plan HR strategies that support organizational goals.
Conduct workforce planning and succession planning to ensure future readiness.
Provide HR analytics and reports to management for informed decision-making.
Manage and optimize HR systems such as attendance, payroll, and employee data management.
Explore HR technology tools to automate and enhance HR processes.
Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and data integrity of all HR information.
Lead HR projects and initiatives to improve efficiency and employee experience.
Stay up-to-date with employment law updates and HR industry trends.
Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of Malaysia Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Confident in managing conflict and driving collaboration.
Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office applications.
Willing to learn, adapt to change, and drive continuous improvement.

8.30am to 6.00pm
