About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resource Executive with a freight forwarding or manufacturing background to join our dynamic team at Geodis Malaysia Sdn Bhd. This full‑time position is based in Subang Jaya, Selangor and will play a crucial role in handling HR related jobs.
Responsibilities
- Assist in payroll processing and staff claims.
- In charge of daily attendance reports, including data entry of leave applications, absenteeism and follow‑up on absenteeism.
- Assist in the preparation of HR related monthly reports.
- Open and maintain accurate and properly filed records.
- Administer and maintain local & global HRIS.
- Assist in recruitment and selection activities, from collecting resumes to arranging interviews.
- Assist in preparing new staff onboarding and off‑boarding procedures.
- Assist in training activities, including training arrangements, records and evaluations.
- Provide administrative support on all other HR functions.
- Contribute to the development of the department.
- Participate in Global Process & Tools projects.
- Provide support to the RPTM for Global HR System data quality assurance.
- Support RPTM in collaborating with local HR teams to implement/update global HR processes.
- Support RPTM in working with other HR function specialists (C&B, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Labor, etc.) to ensure effective use of the Global HR System and report their needs or evolution demands.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of HR related working experience.
- A Diploma in Business Studies, Administration, Management or Human Resource Management is preferred.
- Preferable with experience in similar roles.
- A passion for an HR career.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Familiar with the Malaysia Employment Acts 1955.
- Familiar with statutory guidelines, e.g., EPF, SOCSO, Income Tax & HRDF.
- Responsible, honest, discreet and protective of confidential information with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to multitask.
- Accurate and meticulous with an eye for detail.
- Well‑organized and proactive in developing structures, methods and tools.
- A pragmatic approach to work and the ability to be flexible when needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships.
