A leading engineering firm in Malaysia is seeking a skilled HR Executive to manage recruitment, develop policies, and enhance employee support. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in HR functions and a solid understanding of Malaysian labour law. Proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Malay is required to communicate effectively with a diverse workforce. This role is essential for implementing HR strategies that align with organizational goals and improving workplace culture.
We are looking for a skilled HR Executive who will recruit, support and develop talent through developing policies and managing procedures. You will be responsible for administrative tasks and you’ll contribute to making the company a better place to work.

The goal will be to provide excellent assistance and support to employees and managers.
Implement HR policies and procedures that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process.
Develop training and development programs.
Assist in performance management processes.
Support compensation and benefits programs.
Handle employee relations issues, such as resolving conflicts, addressing grievances, and facilitating communication between management and employees.
Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner, including calculating employee wages, overtime, and other payments.
Handle all the foreigners permits renewals, agency agreements renewals and extension and salaries.
Well-known on Malaysia labour law, disciplinary procedures and can written and speak Mandarin, English and Malay. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
Proven experience as HR officer, administrator or other HR position.
Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.).
Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus.
Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
Strong ethics and reliability.
Diploma or BSc/BA in business administration, social studies or relevant field; further training will be a plus.
HR Credentials (e.g. PHR from the HR Certification Institute).
