A leading semiconductor firm in Malaysia is looking for an HR Manager who will oversee end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and employee welfare activities. The ideal candidate holds a diploma or higher in HR Management and has at least 2 years of relevant experience. Key responsibilities include managing the payroll system, compliance with labor laws, and developing employee policies. End-to-End Recruitment: Manage manpower planning, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
Sourcing Strategy: Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent across direct and non-direct labor categories.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with functional management on workforce planning, succession planning, and internal mobility initiatives.
Onboarding: Coordinate seamless new hire integration, ensuring KPI alignment and necessary resource provision.
Grievance Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee grievances, conducting thorough investigations and resolutions.
Disciplinary Action: Lead domestic inquiries for misconduct cases, ensuring due process, legal compliance, and timely issuance of corrective letters.
Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to labor laws, HR policies, and documentation integrity.
Payroll Administration: Manage the company payroll system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all statutory requirements.
Benefits Management: Assist in planning, implementing, and administering benefit programs to maintain market competitiveness.
Employee Welfare: Organize staff welfare activities, including uniforms, annual dinners, and other corporate events.
Policy Maintenance: Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and quality system documentation.
HR Analytics: Support HR reporting on metrics such as turnover, hiring, training records, and disciplinary statistics.
HRIS Management: Assist in the proper maintenance and administration of the HRMS system.
Ad-hoc Projects: Perform other related duties and special projects as required.
Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Business Studies / Administration / Management, Human Resource Management or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience.
Detail oriented and the ability to multitask effectively.
Approachable and a good listener.
Resourceful, dependable and uphold confidential matters.
Working experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment is an advantage.
Strong communication and coordination skills, with attention to detail and a sense of responsibility.
Able to interact and communicate with all levels and possess strong interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
