As the HSE Executive , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, health and environmental compliance. This full-time position is responsible for plan, implementing and maintaining robust health, safety and environmental management systems to protect our employees, contractors and the local community.

What you'll be doing

Develop, implement and monitor health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and programs to meet or exceed regulatory requirements

Conduct regular site and company fleets inspections, risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards

Lead and manage HSE Department staff, plan and provide training and support to employees on health, safety and environmental best practices

Investigate incidents and accidents, determine root causes and implement corrective actions.

Liaise with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders to ensure compliance.

Maintain comprehensive records and reporting on HSE performance.

Continually review and improve HSE management systems to drive continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

Degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management or a related field

Minimum 5 years' experience as an HSE Executive or officer (management level) and experience working in the transport industry is an advantage.

Strong working knowledge of relevant health, safety and environmental legislation and regulations

Experience and well knowledge of ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, report writing and presenting skills.

Proactive, detail-oriented, strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with employees at all levels.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to drive continuous improvement, and to travel outstations as and when required
