HRIS Support Nature of Job: Contract (3rd party contract) Duration (months): 6 months Job Level: Associate or Senior Associate Division / Department / Section: HR / Employee Experience / HR Operations Excellence Location: D ’house – Lot 10, Subang Hi Tech, Shah Alam Will report to: Head of Section

  • You have the ability to perform a variety of day‑to‑day administrative Human Resource Information System (HRIS) functions ensuring data integrity and the processing and reporting of HR data.
  • Ability to handle problems and non‑routine situations by determining the approach or action to take and interprets guidelines, procedures, policies, and practices
Your Responsibilities:
  • The HRIS Specialist has a primary focus on implementation, support, and maintenance of the Human Resource Information Management System. This position serves as a technical point‑of‑contact for information systems supporting HR planning and operations.
  • Works closely with other subject matter experts in ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
  • The Specialist works under the general supervision of Digi HRIS Lead who assigns responsibilities and sets goals and objectives as follows:
  • Conceptualization and Implementation of Systems/Tools Strategy & Roadmap: In identifying areas of opportunity to improve existing HR system processes, functionality, and workflow, and maximize technological capabilities to reduce manual processes and to improve data management and efficiency.
  • System New Implementation, Release Management & Deployment: Ensure timely and quality delivery within the project timeline. Also, supporting product roadmap management and releases, change requests scoping, development and deployment (whether in‑house or vendor developed).
  • System Support & Maintenance: Troubleshoot, support system upgrades, patches, testing and maintain all Digi HR related systems (e.g., Workday, Orisoft, altHR, etc.), portals, tools, and infrastructure.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas of improvement, capture potential future enhancements needed for on‑going business needs and coordinate implementation of changes.
Your Critical Interfaces:
  • Critical internal interfaces within HR
    • HR Management Team
    • Core HR and Corp Infrastructure Management Teams
  • Critical interfaces with other Digi Teams and Externally
    • Employees of Digi from various divisions (Finance, Commercial, Technology, and Corporate Functions)
    • Consultants, Partners, Suppliers, Telenor Group, Global Shared Services (GSS), Auditors and other vendors
Your Merits:
  • Tertiary education in IT or a related technical field.
  • At least 3-5 years relevant working experience in project management. (E.g., user requirements, design, development, testing, migration) and applications troubleshooting, maintenance and support.
  • Project implementation experience especially in HR and Enterprise related systems (e.g., end‑to‑end HR suite of applications) including the scope on process improvement and change management.
  • Knowledge / understanding of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is an added advantage.
