A leading multinational organisation is seeking an HR Business Partner for its new regional hub in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This role involves driving strategic HR initiatives, managing the entire employee lifecycle, and supporting the integration of new teams. We are partnering with a leading multinational organisation to hire an HR Business Partner for its newly established regional hub. This is a rare opportunity to join at a formative stage and play a critical role in shaping the organisation’s structure, culture, and ways of working.
This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in fast‑moving environments, enjoys building from the ground up, and is energised by navigating ambiguity. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to design people strategies that enable business growth across markets.
Partner with business leaders as a trusted advisor, driving strategic HR initiatives such as workforce planning, organisational design, and capability development to support high‑impact outcomes.
Lead the full employee life cycle for your assigned functions including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, talent development, reward, and employee relations.
Support the integration and setup of new teams/functions into the regional hub, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience and strong cultural alignment.
Drive change management initiatives during periods of transition, business migration, and process redesign.
Champion employee engagement initiatives and leverage workforce data to influence culture, performance, and organisational health.
Lead and coordinate key HR cycles such as performance reviews, reward processes, and talent reviews.
Analyse workforce metrics (attrition, engagement, absenteeism) and propose insights‑driven solutions to improve effectiveness.
Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
Action‑oriented, with a high level of ownership and strong attention to detail.
Comfortable working in ambiguity; able to operate independently and provide clarity in complex situations.
Experience in a matrixed, multinational environment preferred.
Exposure to Global Business Services, Global Capability Centres, or transformation environments is an added advantage.
Background in both HR Business Partnering and HR Centres of Excellence is preferred.
