Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business leaders and teams to design and execute effective people strategies that support growth and boost performance.
  • Drive HR initiatives, solutions, and programs that align with both business and HR priorities, using organizational insights and data analytics to inform decisions.
  • Proactively address talent risks by adopting a holistic approach to engaging internal talent, while leveraging local market insights to support leaders in attracting and retaining top talent.

  • Partner with the HR Centre of Excellence (COE) at the regional level to strengthen talent attraction and retention strategies.
  • Gain insight into compensation strategies for transactional service lines and guide business leaders in prioritizing pay, strategic hiring, business justification, and commercial management.
  • Collaborate closely with the SSC team to ensure precise and up-to-date tracking of employment data.
  • Review, enhance, implement, and communicate policies and compliance initiatives across the region.
  • Advise leaders and HR teams on compliance with local employment laws and culturally appropriate practices.
  • Assess the need for investigations and carry them out in accordance with best practice standards.
  • Partner with people leaders on organizational restructures, ensuring legal compliance and strong commercial rationale.
  • Lead or support the management of underperformance, including the development and implementation of Performance Improvement Plans where necessary.
  • Liaise with external legal counsel and compile necessary documentation for legal proceedings when required.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the company's brand and service offerings to effectively identify and deliver comprehensive client solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Preferably experienced HR Business Partner with at least 8 years of corporate experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in translating business needs into practical HR solutions, overseeing HR projects from planning through execution and ongoing improvement, and leading the people-related components of change initiatives.
  • Well-versed in regulations and employment laws.
  • Hands-on experience with HR technology systems and platforms.
  • Extensive knowledge across key HR functions, including talent acquisition and development, employee retention, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, compensation, and diversity and inclusion.
  • In-depth practical knowledge of legal frameworks, relevant awards, and enterprise agreements, with a proven track record of leading negotiations when required.
  • Proficient in coaching and counselling, with a strong ability to cultivate a high-performing, diverse, and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Skilled in leading and driving change and innovation within HR practices.
  • A confident and articulate communicator with strong presence, capable of engaging effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Requires strong data analysis skills and proficiency in spreadsheets, including the ability to work with percentages, fractions, and perform financial calculations.
