A leading renewable energy company in Serendah, Malaysia is seeking a Recruitment Specialist to drive hiring activities and collaborate with Hiring Managers. The role involves conducting interviews, coordinating recruitment events, and managing talent acquisition processes. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, and be capable of thriving in a high-energy environment. Responsibilities also include training design and managing employee movements, essential for supporting business growth.
Work closely with Hiring Managers to determine staffing needs and requirements and execute hiring activities to achieve the desired targets.
Execute hiring plan through working with Hiring Managers to plan, manage and conduct timely & effective recruitment activities.
Conduct interview for shortlisted candidates as needed, evaluate and finalize the candidates with Hiring Manager to recommend for hire.
Arrange and coordinate pre-employment medical check-up.
Prepare hiring proposal for shortlisted candidates.
Prepare offer letters, make offer to candidates and schedule date of reporting.
Organize, coordinate and participate in job fair, walk in interview and other career event and host in house recruitment events.
Serving as liaison with Recruitment Agencies, colleges, universities, Professional Institutes, Ministry Workforce Development Unit and Jabatan Tenaga Kerja.
Conduct onboarding program for new hire on reporting duty day.
Advertise job openings on social media, job boards and internally Manage employee movement process including transfer, conversion, exit procedures etc).
Involve in Talents Pool project and programs, to acquire, retent and develop the talents as per the Company directions.
To collaborate with business departments to re-design its organization structure or restructuring and work closely with them to develop the organization climates.
To work together with Head of Department to design the department chart and the staffing structure, as well as to compile the employee’s job description.
Identify the training needs of individuals and organizations.
Design engaging, appropriate and accessible learning materials and activities.
Train individuals and groups online, face to face or both.
Monitor trainees' progress and give constructive feedback.
Assesses and processes visa/permit applications.
Liaising with applicants and agencies ensuring compliance with laws.
Managing documentation (passports, supporting docs), handling employees inquiries (phone, email, walk-in), and maintaining records
Excellence in verbal and written communication in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
Effective oral and written communication skill
Able to develop staffing program with collaboration with institution of higher learning.
Able to deal with people at all levels and handle situations under pressure.
Able to perform in a high activity and energetic environment
Ability to deal with high recruitment volume as well as specialist vacancies.
