A consulting firm providing HR services in Johor Bahru is seeking an HR Senior Executive / Manager. The role involves managing in-house HR functions, providing advisory services to manufacturing clients, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of HR experience and is fluent in Mandarin, English, and Malay. This position offers a competitive salary of up to RM8,000 based on experience.

Position: HR Senior Executive / HR Manager
Working hours: Mon – Fri (9am – 6pm)
Salary + Allowance: Up to RM8,000 (Based on experience)
Fluent in Mandarin, English & Malay (able to work with Chinese, Malay, and English documentation).
Job Responsibilities:
Human Resources Management (In-house)
Lead workforce planning, onboarding training, attendance tracking and resignation processes
Administer compensation and benefits including EPF, SOCSO, and other statutory contributions
Maintain employee records in full compliance with Malaysian labour regulations
Assist in coordinating performance appraisals and employee training programs.
Respond to employee inquiries and facilitate conflict resolution to maintain a positive work environment.
Review and update HR policies to reflect best practices and consultancy needs.
Communicate with relevant Malaysian agencies (SSM, Immigration Department, Labor Department, etc.)
Client-Facing HR Advisory (Manufacturing Sector)
Provide expert HR consultation to manufacturing clients (foreigner) on workforce planning, labor law compliance, and employee relations
Assist clients with expatriate and foreign worker management, including visa/work permit processes
Support clients in designing and implementing HR frameworks, SOPs, and performance systems
Government Affairs Liaison & other Administrative Support
Oversee office procurement, facility maintenance, and general admin operations
Coordinate internal activities and organize meeting arrangements
Assist the finance department with basic documentation tasks
Ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
At least 5 years of HR experience, with solid understanding of Malaysian labour law & understanding of Malaysian & China cultural
Fluent in Mandarin, English & Malay (able to work with Chinese, Malay, and English documentation). Proficient in Mandarin to liaise with China-based client.
Experience handling foreign employee work passes (DP/EP)
Familiarity with local procedures in Johor Bahru government office
