Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to manage various HR functions including payroll, employee development, and conflict resolution. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management and have extensive knowledge of Malaysian labor legislation. This position provides a salary range of MYR 7,000 to MYR 10,000, working primarily in Selangor.

Qualifications

  • At least 7 Years of Experience as an HR Generalist covering all functions of HR.
  • Extensive knowledge of Malaysian labour legislation.
  • Preferably from Retail or FMCG industry.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee payroll management and administer salaries, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Manage employee records and ensure updating of documents.
  • Conduct recruitment and selection of staff with a focus on onboarding.
  • Handle conflict resolution to achieve viable outcomes.

About Our Client:

A FMCG company that provides natural healthy lifestyle food products which supply, import, repack, distributes organic and healthy food products into supermarket, pharmacies, organic outlets, fruit shops and others all around Malaysia.

Job Responsibilities
  • Payroll Management - The administration of salaries, bonuses, deductions and payments to statutory bodies.
  • Benefits management - Administration of benefits such as allowances, medical and hospitalization benefits.
  • Employee Records Management - Ensure the updating and archiving of all personal as well as other files/documents.
  • Budget Management - To forecast, manage and introduce cost cutting measures relevant to the department.
  • Performance management - To oversee the appraisal process as well as the KPI settings company wide.
  • Employee Promotion and Development Plans - Management of the promotion and staff development plan, administration of the process and the implementation as well as execution of plans developed.
  • Training Needs Analysis and Training Events - conduct training needs analysis and put in place relevant training in accordance to budget.
  • Recruitment, Selection and Pipeline Development - To oversee the selection and recruitment of staff, restructuring of departments, when necessary (without the need to rehire), manage headcount total numbers and oversee the on-boarding and confirmation of staff.
  • Performance improvement, dismissal and termination - To advise the Company of action plans (in accordance with the law) when a situation warrants such an action.
  • Conflict resolution - to ensure conflicts are managed to a possible viable outcome.
  • Corporate Exercises to overlook, plan and implement succession planning, critical skills retention, salary bench marking and other corporate branding exercises.
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
