Adecco’s client is seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager to lead the full spectrum of HR functions and ensure alignment between people strategies and overall business objectives. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining HR policies, ensuring compliance with Malaysian legislation, and driving HR initiatives that foster a high‑performance culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a core member of the team, contributing to strategic discussions and decision-making.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and frameworks across the employee lifecycle, ensuring full compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations, working closely with the regional HR Services team on employment matters.
  • Coach and support managers and teams to strengthen performance, productivity, and leadership capability.
  • Ensure organizational development efforts and workforce structures evolve to meet business growth needs.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance company culture, employee experience, and engagement levels.
  • Manage vendor relationships for HR‑related services, ensuring quality and cost‑effective delivery.
  • Support annual and quarterly HR cycles, including engagement surveys, performance processes, and merit reviews.
  • Partner with managers on recruitment and selection activities in coordination with the HR Services Centre.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of Malaysian Employment Law and HR best practices; experience in a multinational environment is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across levels.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (verbal and written).
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and responding effectively to changing business needs.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies with organizational objectives.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to drive outcomes with a hands‑on attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience using Workday or other HRIS platforms.
