Responsible for the full spectrum of HR functions in a manufacturing environment, covering recruitment of production staff, attendance management, payroll, employee welfare, training, and compliance with labor regulations.
Responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company’s business goals and operational needs. This includes workforce planning for production and support departments, advising management on HR policies, and ensuring that all HR practices support productivity, compliance, and a positive working environment.
Oversees the full recruitment cycle, including manpower planning, interviewing, selection, and placement. Ensures adequate staffing levels to meet production demands, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Monitors daily attendance, overtime, and leave management to ensure optimal manpower utilization in all production areas. Ensures compliance with the Employment Act regarding working hours, rest days, and overtime claims, while maintaining accuracy in payroll data.
Maintains effective communication between management and employees to promote harmony and engagement. Handles grievances, counseling, and disciplinary actions in a professional and consistent manner. Leads initiatives that strengthen employee relations and improve workplace morale.
Implements and monitors the company’s performance appraisal system to evaluate employees fairly and objectively. Works with department heads to assess results, and identify performance gaps. Recommends actions for reward, recognition, and career development.
Administering payroll processing to ensure accuracy in salaries, allowances, overtime, and statutory deductions such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB. Reviews salary structures, incentive schemes, and benefits to maintain internal equity and external competitiveness.
Identifies training needs for both production and administrative staff, particularly in areas such as safety, GMP, HACCP, and machine operation. Plans and coordinates internal and external training programs, monitors training effectiveness, and manages HRD Corp claims and compliance.
Develops, implements, and reviews HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with current labor laws and industry best practices. Maintains employee records and HR documentation.
Analyzes data to identify trends, propose improvements, and support management decisions. Continuously enhances HR systems and processes for better efficiency and service delivery.
Perform any tasks/ support related to HR by the management from time to time.
Possess Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or related field. HR certification is an advantage.
Minimum 7-10 years of HR experience, including 2 years in a managerial role.
Background in manufacturing or beverage/FMCG industry is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws, payroll, recruitment, and employee relations and HR compliance.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in handling HR data, payroll, and documentation.
Meticulous and precise in processing employee information, ensuring compliance and data integrity.
Mature, proactive, and hands‑on leader with good interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
Able to work under pressure in a fast‑paced factory environment.
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR/payroll systems.
