PositionHR GeneralistJob DescriptionWhat You’ll Be Doing- Advise and partner with functional/departmental managers and clients on various HR aspects, including HR best practices, employee relations, talent management and development, policies, procedures, regulations, compensation, performance metrics, communication, change management initiatives, and other programs supporting business objectives.
- Counsel and coach managers on performance issues and engagement, making recommendations to resolve employee-related issues, problems, and performance concerns. Advise leaders on employment law and internal policies to ensure compliance.
- Act as a liaison to HR Shared Services Center on matters such as leaves, payroll changes, and benefits.
- Assist managers with onboarding new hires, conduct exit interviews, and analyze turnover data. Take ownership of key HR metrics for your client area, working with managers to identify root causes and develop countermeasures.
- Build trustful cooperation with the work council, including obtaining approval for hires and terminations.
- Provide guidance to ensure the professional execution of corporate policies and HR programs, maintaining quality standards.
- Participate in cross-functional communication, sharing best practices within the HR network.
- Collaborate with other HR areas for smooth operation of HR practices.
- Oversee employer branding, social media efforts, diversity initiatives, and candidate experience, contributing ideas and best practices to attract and engage top talent.
What We Are Looking For- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with a degree.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; adept at multitasking and prioritization with attention to detail.
- Fluent in English, Malay, and Mandarin communication.
- Proficient in reading and writing Malay to handle local government documents and ensure regulatory compliance. Strong stakeholder management and a can-do attitude.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
