Job summary

A leading recruitment platform in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Payroll Executive to manage payroll processes accurately and efficiently. Key responsibilities include preparing monthly payroll, ensuring statutory compliance with various regulations, and managing payroll records in the HRIS. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Human Resources, have strong experience in payroll, and be willing to work extended hours when required. This role offers opportunities to work in a dynamic HR environment.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of hands-on experience in payroll.
  • Well-versed in Malaysian Employment Act and relevant HR Acts.
  • Willing to work long hours during month-end closing.

Job description

Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and within dateline.

Verify staff attendance, overtime, allowances, deductions, commissions, and incentives.

Update staff movement i.e. New Hire, Resignation, Salary Review, Promotion and etc.

Monthly statutory submission i.e. LHDN, KWSP, SOCSO and EIS.

Monthly update on CP22 & CP22A

Ensure compliance with the Employment Act, Income Tax Act, and HRDF requirements.

Maintain and update employee payroll records in HRIS - iPayroll

Safeguard sensitive payroll data and ensure data privacy (PDPA compliance).

Manage monthly payroll closing (salary summaries, overtime, reports, headcount) to Accounting team within dateline

Manage yearly payroll processes such as EA forms, E-Filing, CP39, and annual tax submissions.

Support for internal and external audits from time to time.

Perform other HR Generalist functions

Perform ad-hoc project assigned by Supervisor and/or Management from time to time

REQUIREMENTS
  • Degree in Human Resource or related field
  • 5 years hands-on experience in Payroll
  • Well verse in Malaysia Employment Act and relevant HR related Act
  • Knowledge and experience in HRIS - iPayroll/HR2000 will be an added advantages
  • Willing to work long hours as and when required especially during month end closing
