Job summary

A manufacturing company located in Ulu Tiram is seeking a Human Resources professional to lead HR policies development, ensure compliance with labor laws, and manage recruitment processes. The ideal candidate will have a minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in English, Malay, and Mandarin. This role includes overseeing employee training, payroll processing, and handling foreign worker management. A 5-day work week is offered.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
  • Strong knowledge of foreign worker management and work pass applications/renewals is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and review HR policies, procedures, and strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR-related legal requirements.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process.
  • Handle foreign worker management.
  • Oversee employee training and development programs.
  • Manage monthly payroll processing and statutory submissions.
  • Administer performance appraisals and salary adjustments.
  • Work with management on employee relations and disciplinary matters.
  • Monitor daily attendance and manage employee leave records.
  • Maintain accurate HR records.
  • Handle all insurance-related matters.
  • Prepare and manage HR documentation.
  • Support other ad-hoc HR duties.

Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.

Handle foreign worker management, including work permit applications, renewals, and related matters.

Oversee employee training and development programs, including HRDF administration.

Manage monthly payroll processing and statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN).

Administer performance appraisals, and prepare or recommend bonuses and salary adjustments.

Work with management and department heads on employee relations, feedback, and disciplinary matters.

Monitor daily attendance and manage employee leave records.

Maintain accurate HR records and ensure employee information is updated in the HR system.

Handle all insurance-related matters.

Prepare and manage HR documentation.

Support other ad-hoc HR duties and organizational projects as assigned.
