Job summary
A leading HR services firm in Malaysia is looking for an HR Generalist to support employee relations and manage compliance with HR-related guidelines. Candidates should possess a degree in Human Resources or related fields along with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience. The role includes conducting performance reviews and addressing employee concerns to enhance satisfaction and retention. Qualifications
- College Graduate in any field; preferably Human Resources-related.
- Minimum of 1 - 2 years’ experience as HR Generalist.
- Knowledge in HR Management facets (Employee Relations, C&B).
- Experience on corporate compliance and labor laws.
- Ability to work independently with excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the overall SPOC for HR-related concerns.
- Drive employee awareness of company rules and regulations.
- Conduct reviews and performance management/coaching with employees.
- Communicate with Delivery and Department Heads regarding challenges.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis on employee attrition.

- Serve as the overall SPOC for HR-related concerns.
- Drive employee awareness of company rules and regulations, and HR guidelines.
- Collate and manage documentations needed for administrative hearings and evidences.
- In partnership with Operations, conduct reviews and performance management/coaching with employees who are deemed underperforming with the goal of increasing productivity and job security.
- Bridge the gap between Human Resources, Delivery and Support groups by establishing and maintaining communication lines.
- Communicate with Delivery and Department Heads regarding the specific challenges of each, and devise plans and activities with the goal of curbing attrition and employee dissatisfaction.
- Take part in performance management reviews.
- Conduct Root Cause/Deep Dive Analysis on major causes of employee attrition and dissatisfaction.
Qualifications
- College Graduate in any field; Preferably of a Human Resources-related course (ie Psychology, Sociology, Human Resource Management).
- Minimum of 1 - 2 years’ experience as HR Generalist.
- Working knowledge in other facets of HR Management (Employee Relations, Labor Relations, C&B, Health & Safety, Data Management, Engagement, et al).
- Extensive knowledge and experience on corporate compliance and labor laws.
- DOLE Compliance, OSH, Labor Law/ BWC, Government Benefits and Compliances.
- Thorough understanding of Discipline Management – SCM/NTE, NOD, PS.
- Functional understanding of Performance Management – Regularization Reviews, PIP, Annual Review.
- Process oriented – has proven track record of innovations and process improvement initiatives.
- Very good knowledge on the BPO/IT industry standards.
- Ability to work independently.
- With excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Able to relate to various levels of the organization.
