Job summary

A human resource management firm in Malaysia is seeking a dedicated HR professional with at least three years of experience. The role involves managing recruitment and onboarding processes, payroll management, and supporting employee relations. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in HR or a related field, with proficiency in both Bahasa Malaysia and English. Strong Microsoft Office skills and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism are essential. Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage.

Job description

Handle end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.

Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation.

Managing in monthly payroll processing and ensure statutory compliance (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB) are accurate.

Manage attendance, leave records, and prepare related reports.

Support employee relations and coordinate staff engagement activities.

Ensure compliance with labour laws and company HR policies.

Prepare HR reports and assist in internal audits or reviews.

Perform general HR administrative tasks and ad-hoc duties as assigned

Education & Qualifications

Minimum Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or any related field.

Additional certifications in HR or payroll (e.g., MIHRM, SHRM) will be an added advantage.

Experience

At least 3 years of relevant experience in Human Resources, preferably in a generalist role.

Familiarity with handling recruitment, payroll, leave management, and employee relations.

Additional Requirements

Able to start work immediately or within a short notice period is an added advantage.

Willing to take on multi-tasking roles and support company-wide HR initiatives.

Retail experiences or background is advantages.

Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English (spoken & written).

Mandarin proficiency is preferred to communicate with Mandarin-speaking employees.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word).

Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.

Able to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.

Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
