A global delivery services company seeks an HR Business Partner Specialist in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. You will partner with management on HR practices aimed at achieving effective workforce outcomes while supporting the company's People Strategy. With over 5 years of HR experience and a relevant degree, you will guide managers on performance and recruitment, and engage in HR process improvements. As an HR Business Partner Specialist, you will be a partner to line management, managing the implementation and providing market‑level support for human resources policies and management practices with the objective to ensure an effective workforce so as to achieve business objectives and maintain the FedEx Malaysia's Employer of Choice status.
As a member of the Malaysia HR team, you will work alongside your assigned Management team to add value to our business and influence the company's People Strategy. You will also have opportunities to work alongside our Asia Pacific (APAC) HR Center of Excellence teams and the rest of the North Pacific & South East Asia (NPACSEA) People Operations teams on process improvement, digitalisation, Employee Experience (EX) among other projects.
Day to day, aside from participation in APAC HR Projects, you will be responsible to guide and on occasion upskill Managers in people related matters in order for those People Managers to be able to perform efficiently and effectively management of their team such as recruitment, performance management, managing disciplinary issues etc.
