A leading semiconductor company in Kedah, Malaysia is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to drive HR strategies aligned with business priorities, enhance talent development, and foster employee engagement. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of HRBP experience, with strong relationship-building skills and a good understanding of Malaysian employment laws. This role offers a dynamic and collaborative work environment focused on strategic people partnership and operational excellence.
As a HR Business Partner at Lam Research, you will play a critical role in enabling our leaders and teams within manufacturing and operations. You will influence business decisions with strong HR insights, drive capability-building programs, and support site expansion activities while ensuring a people-first experience aligned with Lam’s culture and values—Act with Purpose, Inspire Collaboration, and Achieve Together.
Works closely with management in the implementation of corporate policies related to human resources, organizational and employee development at the business unit or division level. Consults with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources issues, attempting to resolve employee relations issues with a systematic approach. Participates in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., salary review, stock renewal, workforce planning, and organizational change). Assists senior management in the development of solutions through organizational development and cultural and process-oriented perspectives. May play a role in administering talent management and succession planning activity within client organization. Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis and problem solving.
Minimum 8 years of HRBP experience, ideally within semiconductor, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing.
Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence leaders at all levels.
Experience in talent management, organizational development, coaching, and employee relations.
High learning agility, resilience, and ability to navigate a fast-paced, matrixed global environment.
Strong understanding of Malaysian employment laws and HR best practices.
Experience working in MNCs or global teams is a strong advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related fields.
