Job summary

Santomas Sdn Bhd in Kulim Hi-tech Park (Malaysia) is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support the HR Manager with training and development, attendance, recruitment and onboarding, and foreign worker administration.

You will assist in performance management, ISO documentation, 5S, and daily HR operations, maintain records, and help engage employees while ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of HR experience preferred; fresh graduates are welcomed.
• Diploma in HR, Business Administration or related discipline required.
• Work location at Kulim Hi-tech Park, Kulim.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training and development activities, including planning, coordination and evaluation.
• Maintain training records and ensure hours and KPIs are met.
• Ensure ISO HR documentation compliance for training procedures.
• Manage attendance records, including shifts, leave and irregular attendance.
• Support recruitment and onboarding for direct labour.
• Handle foreign worker matters, including levy and visa records.
• Assist in performance evaluations and competency development.
• Coordinate HR communications and employee engagement activities.
• Prepare HR letters and reports; maintain accurate HR records.
• Promote 5S practices and support day-to-day HR operations.
