HR Assistant Manager (HR Strategy) | 4 - 5 Years' Experience

Help translate business goals into people strategies that lift performance, engagement and culture across the company.

What you’ll do?

  • Drive culture & engagement: pulse surveys, action plans, recognition, change/change-readiness
  • Support rewards & policy: salary review inputs, job benchmarking, policy governance
  • Own HR analytics: monthly dashboards (HC, TO, TTF, absenteeism, training) with insights & actions
  • Guide ER/IR: coach managers; manage disciplinary & grievance documentation
  • Ensure operations & compliance: HRIS integrity; payroll inputs (EPF/KWSP, SOCSO/PERKESO, EIS, PCB); Employment Act 1955 (Amendment 2022)
  • Partner on employer branding & recruitment for strategic roles

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

  • Bachelors in HR/Business/Management (or related)
  • 4–5 years in HR with strong exposure to HR strategy, performance/talent and workforce planning
  • Working knowledge of Malaysian labour law, statutory contributions,
  • Comfortable with HRIS + Excel/Google Sheets; able to build clear people dashboards
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication in English & Bahasa Malaysia

Nice to have

  • SHRM-CP/PHRi/CHRP, OD/Talent certs, SME/high-growth experience, competency frameworks or change projects
