A leading HR consultancy in Malaysia is seeking an HR professional to manage expatriate operations and ensure compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or above, strong communication skills, and experience in manufacturing or construction. Proficiency in English, Malay, and Mandarin is essential. Handle visa and work permit applications and renewals for expatriate employees.
Manage employee insurance applications and renewals (SOCSO, EIS, medical insurance, etc.).
Assist in recruitment processes including job posting, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer preparation.
Maintain attendance, leave, and employee records accurately.
Support staff training, performance review, and employee engagement activities.
Ensure compliance with Malaysia’s labor laws, immigration regulations, and company policies.
Support the development and improvement of HR and administrative procedures.
Liaise with government departments, banks, and other agencies for document submissions or official matters.
Marital Status: No restriction
Education: Bachelor’s degree or above (Diploma holders with strong experience will be considered)
Major: Management, Human Resources, or related fields preferred
Languages: Proficient in English, Malay, and Mandarin (able to use all three for daily communication)
Experience:
Experience in manufacturing or construction companies preferred
Experience in handling visa/work permit and HR administrative tasks is an advantage
Skills:
Strong communication and coordination skills
Good command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Detail-oriented, responsible, and organized
Other Requirements:
Familiar with Malaysia’s industrial policies, labor laws, and HR regulations
Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks under pressure
Trilingual in English, Malay, and Mandarin (speaking and writing)
Possess HR or Administration-related certifications
Familiar with immigration or HR systems (e.g., Expatriate Services Division, Immigration portal)
Prior experience in Chinese or multinational companies
Work with a leading Chinese industrial group expanding in Malaysia
Exposure to cross-border administrative and HR operations
