Job summary

Company Background:

Our client is an established multinational manufacturer with a strong presence across global market, especially in APAC region. They are currently looking for a HR & Admin Manager / Senior Manager to be based in their manufacturing plant in Negeri Sembilan.

Job Responsibilities:
1. HR Business Partner scope:
  • Performance management - timely communication & process, analysis and follow-up actions. Providing coaching and guidance to line managers on performance-related matters, managing improvement process.
  • Manpower planning & recruitment - annual manpower planning, talent acquisition strategy and fulfilment of manpower resources. Responsible for end-to-end recruitment activities, driving recruitment effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Industrial relations - managing disciplinary matters and misconduct, employee grievance reports, investigation and reporting.
  • HR policies implementation and interpretation to employees.
  • Leading the office administration function.
2. Partnering with Centre of Excellence:
  • Annual operating plan and manpower budget preparation, monitoring and headcount/cost analysis.
  • Compensation & benefits - provide inputs to Total Rewards team for C&B proposal, merit review, off-cycle review and etc.
  • Talent management and career discussion - facilitator of review calibration and succession planning process, partnering with line managers in employee development process, high potential/key positions.
  • Employee development - craft L&F strategy and partnering with regional office in carrying out regional L&D programs.
  • Employee engagement & people experience - driving employee engagement strategy and company's value & leadership promotion and programs.
  • Support various audits: GMP, ISO, Halal, tax audit and etc.
  • Involvement in Sports & Recreation club activities and etc.
Job Requirements
  • Degree holder in HR Management or Business Administration or related disciplines.
  • HR generalist with minimum 10-15 years of experience in HR & Administration, preferably in a manufacturing industry and with unionized environment.
  • Regional exposure working with employees from different culture backgrounds.
  • Good interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa and Chinese languages.
  • Willing to work in Negeri Sembilan, and travel outstation as per work required.
