Job description
Responsibilities
  • Handle full spectrum of HR duties including payroll, recruitment, compensation & benefits, training and employee relations.
  • Contribute to the development of HR department goals, objectives, and systems.
  • Propose, implement and revise the company’s compensation and benefits program.
  • Create and revise work structures such as job descriptions, job requirements and authorities of all positions.
  • Manage pay plan by conducting annual salary surveys.
  • Develop, analyse, and update the company’s salary budget.
  • Plan and monitor yearly appraisal through the company’s performance evaluation program.
  • Enforce management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures, and revise the company’s handbook from time to time.
  • Advance human resource staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; and planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Responsible for employees’ misconduct investigations, disciplinary procedures and termination.
  • Responsible in recruitment efforts for all personnel, including writing and placing job ads, shortlisting candidates, interview and selection.
  • Oversee new employee orientations and training programs.
  • Conduct and analyze exit interviews and recommend changes.
  • Participate in administrative staff meetings.
  • Maintain company directory and other organizational charts.
  • Prepare monthly payroll and ensure all statutory requirements/contributions such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS and income tax deductions are complied with.
  • Initiate changes for HR & Admin Department continual improvements.
  • Oversee the recruitment, passport and permit renewal for foreign workers or expatriates.
  • Perform other ad-hoc activities assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements
  • Possess Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent.
  • Candidate must possess 5-7 years of working experience in a related field.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Hardworking, possess a positive attitude, and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
