A manufacturing company in Ulu Tiram is seeking an HR professional to develop policies and manage recruitment. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Human Resource Management and at least 3 years of HR experience, including knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and proficiency in multiple languages. This role offers a 5-day work week with responsibilities including payroll processing and training management.
Develop, implement, and regularly review HR policies, procedures, strategies, and initiatives to align with business goals and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Ensure adherence to Malaysian labor laws and all legal regulations related to human resource practices.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, hiring, and onboarding.
Oversee foreign worker administration, including permit applications, renewals, and related matters.
Manage employee training and development initiatives, including HRDF (Human Resources Development Fund) activities.
Handle monthly payroll processing and ensure timely submission of statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN).
Administer the performance appraisal process, and prepare or recommend salary adjustments and bonuses.
Collaborate with management and department heads to address employee feedback, disciplinary matters, and performance concerns.
Monitor daily staff attendance and manage leave applications.
Maintain and update HR records in the HR system and ensure proper document filing.
Handle all matters related to employee insurance coverage.
Prepare and manage all HR-related documentation.
Support ad hoc tasks and participate in company-wide HR projects as assigned.
Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
At least 3 years of relevant HR experience is required.
Strong understanding of Malaysia labor laws and foreign worker administration, including work pass applications and renewals.
Proficiency in English, Malay, and Mandarin is required to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Competent in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
5-day work week.
