A leading manufacturing company in Johor is seeking an HR professional to manage end-to-end recruitment, oversee training administration, and enhance employee engagement through events. The ideal candidate holds a diploma or degree in Human Resource Management with at least 2 years of HR experience, particularly in recruitment and training administration. Proficiency in MS Office and effective communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required. Attractive remuneration and benefits are offered.
Assist the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, screening, shortlisting, and coordinating interviews with hiring managers.
Participate in interviews as part of the selection panel, assessing candidates’ suitability based on job requirements and company culture.
Liaise with recruitment platforms, agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely fulfillment of manpower needs.
Maintain and update the recruitment tracker to monitor hiring progress, ensuring all positions are filled within the targeted timeline.
Support employer branding initiatives such as career fairs, university engagement, and online recruitment campaigns.
Plan, schedule, and track all internal and external training (technical, soft skills, and compliance-related).
Maintain comprehensive training records, attendance logs, certificates, and training reports.
Conduct onboarding briefings for new hires and assist in translation where necessary.
Support and coordinate on-the-job training programs for staff.
Attend to employee disciplinary issues and elevate to management as necessary.
Draft disciplinary letters in line with company procedures and employment regulations.
Support plant-level legal compliance requirements.
Monitor and manage contract renewals, service schedules, and payment processes.
Oversee utilities management (e.g., water, electricity) and coordinate with service vendors (e.g., pest control, air conditioning).
Assist in organizing company events including festive celebrations, birthdays, and staff activities.
Manage event logistics, decoration, and vendor coordination.
Support dormitory and canteen administrative coordination.
Handle staff facility-related complaints and escalation to relevant departments.
Handle general insurance application, claim submission, follow-up, etc.
Prepare monthly HR-related reports (e.g., HRA, insurance, PERKESO).
Issue Purchase Requests (PR) and Change Requests (CR), liaising with Procurement.
Assist in SOCSO and insurance claim documentation and follow-ups.
Update and maintain records of employee movements (hires/resignations).
Perform any other general or ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the HR Manager.
Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in HR roles, with added advantage for candidates experienced in Recruitment, Training Administration, and Employee Relations.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HR systems.
Able to communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
