Job summary

Hyatt House Kuala Lumpur, Mont Kiara seeks an experienced Finance Manager to lead the Finance & Administration Department, overseeing accounting, purchasing, and information systems. The role reports to the General Manager and drives financial strategy for a busy hotel.

You will manage monthly/annual financial statements, budgets, and cash flow while ensuring compliance with Hyatt policies and statutory requirements. A hands-on leader with strong commercial acumen is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Finance or Accounting; CA certification is an added advantage.
• Minimum 6 years in a senior finance role within an international hotel chain and led a finance team.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages a plus.
• Experience managing hotel on-site accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Finance & Administration Department including accounting, purchasing, and information systems.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and performance analysis to optimize profitability.
• Drive revenue optimization, cost control and RevPAR performance with senior leadership.
• Collaborate with General Manager and department heads to plan and control financial objectives.
