Job summary

A leading Malaysian manufacturing company is looking for a warden to manage the hostel for foreign workers. This role requires at least 1-2 years of relevant experience and possession of transport to Petaling Jaya. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-2 years working experience as a warden.
  • Must possess own transport to work in Petaling Jaya.
  • Holding at least an SPM or equivalent certificate.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure foreign workers' hostel is well-maintained.
  • Comply with Act 446 regarding housing standards.
  • Manage cleanliness and facilities in the hostel.
  • Facilitate documents submission for accommodation certification.
  • Ensure compliance with hostel policies and regulations.
  • Assist workers with migration and medical needs.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure Foreign worker’s hostel surrounding environment are upkeep and well maintained.
  • Ensure hostel management process compliance with Act 446: Employees' Minimum Standards of Housing, Accommodations and Amenities
  • To submit the complete documents to the Labour Department (JTK) for the certificate application for accommodation for workers.
  • Manage and maintain the cleanliness and facilities in the hostel.
  • Execute required hostel management projects as approved by management.
  • Managing the welfare and discipline of foreign workers in the hostel.
  • Ensure hostel occupants abide by hostel & factory policies, rules, and regulations.
  • To bring the worker for FOMEMA, immigration, hospital/ clinic and etc.
  • Involved in Workers' Dialog.
  • To perform any tasks or assignments given by a superior from time to time.
