Directly supervise a team of Mover Operator in heavy industry.

Provide guidance, instruction, and leadership to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Schedule shifts and assignments for the team, considering workload and deadlines.

Plan and coordinate the movement of heavy equipment, machinery, and vehicles across job sites or within facilities.

Ensure equipment is moved according to specifications, using appropriate tools and techniques.

Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to understand movement requirements and timelines.

Enforce safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks during equipment movement.

Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Provide training and mentoring to team members on safety practices and equipment operation.

Monitor the quality of work performed by the team to ensure adherence to standards and specifications.

Address any issues or concerns related to equipment movement promptly and effectively.

Maintain accurate records of equipment movement, including logbooks and inspection reports.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.

Report on progress, challenges, and achievements to management as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a similar supervisory role, preferably in heavy industry moving or related field.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and practices related to heavy equipment operations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and specifications.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in heavy equipment operation or related field.
• Experience with specific types of heavy equipment relevant to the industry (e.g., cranes, bulldozers, forklifts).
• Familiarity with logistical planning and scheduling software.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 20 kg or more) and work in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to different job sites as needed.

Working Conditions:

• Work primarily takes place outdoors or in industrial settings.
• Exposure to noise, dust, and mechanical hazards is common.
• Requires wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
