Responsibilities
  • Advise top management on environmental, safety, and health (ESH) requirements.
  • Establish and maintain ESH practices in line with applicable laws, company standards, international standards, and customer compliance.
  • Ensure a safe and healthful workplace for all employees, ensuring compliance with applicable ESH-related laws, rules, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Manage and improve Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental matters by controlling, monitoring, enforcing, and coordinating ESH-related tasks.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies such as DOSH, DOE, Ministry of Health, Fire Services Department, and other relevant authorities to ensure full legal compliance.
  • Develop and implement training programs, policies, and procedures to prevent any hazards in the workplace.
  • Supervise and address inspection findings, proposing solutions to eliminate incidents and hazards in the future.
  • Serve on the Safety and Health Committee, organizing and maintaining documents, notices, notifications, and minutes related to safety matters.
  • Investigate and analyze workplace accidents, preparing incident investigation reports and recommending corrective actions.
  • Raise awareness among all staff about environmental, health, and safety standards in the workplace.
  • Monitor and inspect equipment and workplaces to ensure proper use of protective equipment and compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular site audits and reviews to ensure compliance with all relevant ESH laws and regulations.
  • Organize and conduct emergency drills and exercises to ensure preparedness for potential incidents.
Qualifications
  • Candidates must possess minimum Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a construction environment.
  • Certified Health & Safety Officer by DOSH (Active Green Book holder).
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated, with good interpersonal skills.
  • Desire to deliver results and contribute effectively to safety initiatives.
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of OSH Act and Regulations.
