HSE Officer
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive HSE Officer to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in implementing and managing Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and practices, ensuring full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and implement safety and health policies and practices to meet legal and organizational requirements.
 
- Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies on all ESH-related matters to ensure full compliance.
 
- Conduct regular workplace inspections and audits to identify and address unsafe acts or conditions.
 
- Serve as Secretary to the Safety and Health Committee, including preparing meeting materials, following up on actions, and maintaining accurate records.
 
- Assist in planning and executing emergency response drills such as fire drills, chemical spill, or flood simulations.
 
- Develop, review, and implement HIRARC, Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and Permit to Work (PTW) systems.
 
- Investigate and analyze workplace incidents, accidents, and hazards; prepare reports and propose preventive measures.
 
- Conduct factory inspections and coordinate DOSH machinery inspection schedules.
 
- Deliver EHS induction training for new employees and contractors, as well as regular toolbox talks and safety briefings.
 
- Manage Scheduled Waste (SW) records and ensure compliance with E-SWIS system (DOE) requirements.
 
- Monitor and report industrial effluent discharge and air emission compliance with environmental standards.
 
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
 
- Registered Safety & Health Officer (Green Book Holder) with DOSH will be an added advantage.
 
- Minimum 3–5 years of working experience in a similar role within manufacturing or industrial settings.
 
- Strong knowledge of OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, EQA 1974, and other relevant regulations.
 
- Competent in HIRARC, Chemical Handling, Emergency Response, and Scheduled Waste Management.
 
- Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
 
- A team player who can work effectively with multiple departments and external authorities.
