Role Summary
Reporting to CPO, Head, People & Culture is responsible for shaping and driving the organization’s people strategy to foster a high-performance, engaged and compliant workforce. This role oversees key HR functions including Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management and Industrial Relations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and legal requirements.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop a holistic C&B framework that aligns with business priorities, ensuring competitive pay structures and benefits programs that attract top talent, retain high performers and foster employee satisfaction and loyalty.
- Design and implement pay scales and reward mechanisms that reflect organizational growth trajectories, maintain cost efficiency and support strategic workforce planning for future talent needs.
- Perform periodic reviews of industry compensation trends and benchmark data to maintain external competitiveness, while balancing internal equity and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Oversee end-to-end HR operations, including payroll accuracy and compliance, while designing and managing comprehensive benefits programs that enhance employee well‑being and engagement.
- Drive organizational culture transformation by implementing structured change management plans, engaging stakeholders, and embedding behaviors that promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Drive employee engagement strategy – partner with human resources teams and business leaders to implement employee engagement strategies to meet the targeted employee engagement score.
- Responsible in driving communication strategy for HR to ensure employees of MCIS Life receive updated and useful information to stay connected with business, people, culture and governance related messages which include managing quarterly townhall sessions, work with marketing team on e-newsletter and employee experience team to roll out purple reward program.
- Drive industrial harmony strategy within MCIS Life together with line managers on performance improvement plan, disruptive behaviors intervention, and disciplinary sanctions or performance exit plan to sustain high performance culture goal, and management of two unions.
- Review existing related policies, guidelines and content to ensure it aligns with our latest learning strategies and complies with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all compensation and benefits practices comply with local labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
