Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a senior EHS leader to develop and enforce corporate safety, fire protection and operational risk strategies across sites in Malaysia. You will ensure regulatory alignment, drive continuous improvement and lead crisis management initiatives.

The role requires extensive knowledge of OSHA, Fire Services Act and local EHS laws, with strong stakeholder reporting skills and a track record in logistics/warehousing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety/Engineering required.
• Green Book SHO or OSH Coordinator / FSM certification preferred.
• 3–5+ years in safety/compliance with a senior leadership background (logistics/warehousing preferred).
• Strong knowledge of OSHA (1994 & Amendment 2022), Fire Services Act 1988, and EHS regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce corporate EHS, fire safety, and operational risk strategies
• Maintain full compliance with DOSH/JKKP, BOMBA, DOE, and relevant Malaysian safety laws
• Oversee site audits, HIRARC implementations, and root‑cause incident investigations
• Direct Emergency Response Teams (ERT), crisis management, and business continuity plans
• Track company‑wide safety KPIs and deliver risk assessments to senior leadership
