A leading telecommunications company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a professional for strategic leadership in segment marketing. This job involves owning the end-to-end marketing strategy for B2B, overseeing campaign execution, and managing the Business Innovation Centre. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, ensuring alignment between various teams and driving insights for performance improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end segment marketing strategy and planning for all B2B segments.
  • Align marketing and activation activities with segment sales objectives and customer needs.
  • Champion market research, customer segmentation, and competitor analysis.
  • Develop value propositions and go-to-market strategies tailored to each segment.
  • Lead the planning and flawless execution of integrated marketing campaigns, events, activations, and sponsorships.
  • Oversee logistics, budget, vendor relationships, and ensure impactful customer experiences.
  • Strategically manage and optimise the MBIC as a showcase for Maxis Business solutions.
  • Ensure premium customer engagement, daily operations, and technology infrastructure.
  • Equip sales teams with insights, training, and tools to engage prospects.
  • Establish and optimise lead qualification and handoff processes with Sales.
  • Define and track KPIs for all marketing, events, and MBIC activities.
  • Provide regular, data-driven performance reviews and actionable insights to senior management.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage Segment Marketing, Events & Activation, and Innovation Centre Specialists.
  • Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and operational excellence.
  • Act as a key liaison with internal teams (Sales and Product/Solutions) and external partners (vendors, agencies).
  • Ensure seamless collaboration and alignment of all activities with business goals.
Job description
