Job summary

An international school in Thailand is seeking a passionate Head of Secondary Mathematics to lead the Mathematics department. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Education, strong leadership skills, and a minimum of 3–5 years of teaching experience in IGCSE and A-Level Mathematics. Responsibilities include overseeing curriculum planning, mentoring teachers, and fostering student success. Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of successful experience teaching Mathematics at the Secondary level.
  • Prior experience in a leadership or coordination role within a Mathematics department strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and vision for the Mathematics department.
  • Teach Mathematics across Secondary levels, including IGCSE and A-Level.
  • Mentor and appraise Mathematics teachers to enhance teaching quality.
  • Monitor student performance and inform planning using data.
  • Organise and support co-curricular Mathematics activities.
