A leading foodservice company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Head of Sales to drive growth through strategic partnerships in the foodservice and convenience store sectors. Candidates should have over 10 years of experience in food sales, excellent communication and negotiation skills. This role involves leading a sales team and developing national strategies, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with customer service standards. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
Role Summary
Responsible for leading foodservice or convenient stores channel strategy and execution, driving growth through partnerships and principals. This role oversees the foodservice/convenient stores/petrol marts team and ensures alignment with product, marketing, and supply chain functions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement national foodservice / convenient stores / petrol kiosks sales strategy
Lead by example, guide and coach the relevant sales team
Build and maintain relationships with key clients
Identify new business opportunities and drive channel expansion
Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Marketing, Supply Chain and etc.
Monitor channel performance and ensure achievement of sales targets and margins
Ensure compliance with company policies and customer service standards
Any ad-hoc tasks assigned to you from time to time.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field
10+ years relevant food sales experience, preferably in FMCG Foodservice, convenience or petrol retail stores would be added advantage.
Experience with distribution business model would be added advantage
Positive, passionate, strong leadership and strategic planning skills with can-do attitude
Excellent communication, data analysis, and negotiation abilities.
